Welcome to my portfolio. Photography is a source of therapeutic expression and intentional grounding.

I strive to capture the beautiful moments that ask us to pause and take in life around us. The sun asks us to see the warmth that is always available to us. The moon asks that we look up and take time for quite reflection and stillness. Everything else around us reminds us that all we can know and everything we seek can be learned from this earth.

Illuminated by a warm sun setting behind us the tide is in covering all but the tips of the Marsh Grass. An old boat has been beached along the shore, it's red rust glimmering among the attached clamshells. A soft blue sky with puffy pink clouds and a flying loon hang above the distance island.

recent work

As the smoky air cleared, a rapid storm system swept across the lake. In the moments between each storm, the sun illuminated the freshly soaked dock bringing the whole space to life. And as the storm moved out, the clouds put on a beautiful show before evening set in.
